Kite-surf lessons in Buzios
 Localized in Estrada José Bento Ribeiro Dantas, 9, in front of Praia Rasa Beach (photo), besides Pousada Rasa Búzios. Rasa Beach, just in the entrance of the city, was considered by a tester of IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization), the english Jon Dodds, as perfect for learning.
Always with small waves, much few people in the sand and low bottom, the beach receives east and northeast winds (side on Shore) and allows the instructor to be always close and present guiding and following the pupil during its lesson.
The Búzios Kitesurf School offer to the pupils: small boat for rescue, rent and sale of equipment, air compressor to inflate the kits, shower after the kite sessions and place to put the equipment.
The school receives pupils from all around the world, and the lessons are in portuguese and english.
The school has new and modern equipment, with kites of different sizes from 2 mts to 16 mts.
The security equipment enters: helmets, vests life-guard, rubber boots, neoprene clothes and small boat for rescue.
We also have used equipment in excellent conditions for the pupils who want to buy their first equipment.

Some Kitesurf schools exist in the city, favorite sport in the peninsula because of the strong breezes and winds from the east almost the most part of the year and that also they take clouds far away, theese schools also rent the necessary equipment for the practical of this wonderful sport.
