 Búzios is considered one of the best places of the world for nautical and sail sports. National and international competitions are frequent in waters of the city. Windsurf, Laser, Hobie Cat, Wake Board or Kitesurf can be practised in Ferradura, Raza and Manguinhos beaches. In the beach of Geribá, the staff of windsurf, has strong winds besides the amount of waves for radical maneuvers. Búzios has a Yacht Club, in the beach of Ossos. It will not be difficult for you to find the olimpic champions, Lars and Torben Grael there. 
Schools and clubs with regular courses for children and adults and equipment rent exist.

In Manguinhos beach works the school Escolinha do Toninho, or better, of the gaúcho Antônio Cláudio Zucchelli de Souza, 44 years, and started to widsurf when he was 22 with the wind from Rio Guaíba, of Porto Alegre, toghether with the gaúcha Cynthia Coelho Belo whom he married to, had a daughter Bárbara and also made her sailer.
