Surf championship of búzios always happen in Geriba Beach. Beyond the waves, there are healthful and bronzed bodies walking in its sands. There are surf teachers for children and adults that have boards for rent. Other good options for good waves, but not so crowded, are Caravelas, Brava and Tucuns beaches.

Maybe Geriba is the meeting point in Búzios, but for those that look for something more than appearance, in Buzios is possible to find very good places like Tucuns (always a good point), Brava (quick left), Pier da Rasa (one after the other, lots of left, just choose, but depends on the weather conditions), José Gonçalves (right and incredible waves sometimes left also) and Laje da Rasa (perfect long waves, "secret point", the top is weird and you have to row very much or rent a boat).
